( OUDX-C ) Egyptian Classic Oud, 12 Strings
This oud has the classic tear-drop shape. The stave construction of the bowl is accented with three different woods of alternating colors; Two types of Egyptian Laback wood and a rich Rosewood. The three round sound holes have rosette inserts and are rimmed by decorative wood inlay. The soundboard has a light finish. There are twelve strings in six courses of two each (nylon and nylon wound). The nut to bridge measures approximately 23.5 inches. This is a beautifully decorated instrument. Over all dimensions are approximately 32 x 14 x 8 inches. Oud includes extra string set, oud pick and case. The case has three locks and a hand grip, vinyl outside and cloth inside. Made in Egypt.
