Bell Trees

Bell trees are a set of vertical brass bells, which are in a graduated set. The bell tree, or Chinese Bells, is played by moving a mallet either up or down the set of bells. The mallet is usually metal, such as a triangle beater or a brass bell mallet. First introduced in the 1950s as an effect for the elite, now the bell tree is a standard percussion element. |
